July 27, 2009I Can Only Imagine
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

Tiny Angel rest your wings
sit with me for awhile.
How I long to hold your hand,
And see your tender smile.
Tiny Angel, look at me,
I want this image clear….
That I will forget your precious face
Is my biggest fear.
Tiny Angel can you tell me,
Why you have gone away?
You weren’t here for very long….
Why is it, you couldn’t stay?
Tiny Angel shook his head,
“These things I do not know….
But I do know that you love me,
And that I love you so”. -Author Unknown
I want to hug you and tell you that everything will be okay.. I try to find the words that will comfort you… But I know that nothing can make the pain go away, at least for now.
I cry with you for your loss, and my heart breaks as you go through this. Hang on, my best friend. Love you Abi.
get well soon CORY
July 3, 2009I am not fond of politics, although I try to be a good citizen and follow the rules. I do get affected, and sometimes angered, by talks about graft & corruption and power tripping of top government officials. I keep myself updated of the economic status of the country, or at least the dollar-peso exchange rate for that matter. hehe.
I had always liked Cory. Well, to put it better, I never disliked her. Maybe because she has a resemblance to the person closest to my heart.
O diba, pati glasses magkataste sila ng Mommy ko. haha.
She was president during my late elementary to high school years. So, I guess I was updated with what was going on with her government that time — required magbasa ng newspaper sa St. Scho everyday, at may reporting pa!
I did not like her then as I like her now. Don’t react, di ko sya crush, hehe. The impact on me just came after her term, when she continued to serve on her own without any political or personal gain in mind. I am saddened by reports of her weakening health. She was not a superb president, but she has a sincere heart for the country and the people. And we have very few influencial, powerful, sincere people brave enough to make a difference.
Get well soon, Cory.
BAhaY KubO
June 8, 2009Bahay kubo, kahit munti… and so the song goes.
But what if you were to dream of a small space of your own… your own bahay kubo within the city.
For a few weeks now, i had been thinking about finally getting my own unit. With the high rent i’m paying for my beloved apartment and the prevailing cheap interest rate PAGIBIG is offering, I can’t help but to really toy with the idea.
Actually, I did not see myself actually doing something this Big, well, not a loan lasting for 30 years and especially not purchasing a million-peso-or-more property on my own. I’m not this big of a risk taker. I love stability and I always try (as in try, even if often times i fail) to be debt free.
I found a place. I found the right financing.
Most importantly, i can feel my Father’s hand directing and making everything easy on me. As what I always believe in, if it’s God’s will, then things will come accordingly and very easily. Let’s just pray the processing of the papers will go smoothly…
If not, then i guess it’s not the time for my munting bahay kubo yet.

It’s my first time to go out of town with Popay… and it’s great.
For such an old car, Popay, u’re amazing!
Disclaimer: Popay is a dear friend’s car, not mine… yet. Joke joke.
