BAhaY KubO

June 8, 2009

Bahay kubo, kahit munti… and so the song goes.

But what if you were to dream of a small space of your own… your own bahay kubo within the city.

For a few weeks now, i had been thinking about finally getting my own unit. With the high rent i’m paying for my beloved apartment and the prevailing cheap interest rate PAGIBIG is offering, I can’t help but to really toy with the idea.

Actually, I did not see myself actually doing something this Big, well, not a loan lasting for 30 years and especially not purchasing a million-peso-or-more property on my own. I’m not this big of a risk taker. I love stability and I always try (as in try, even if often times i fail) to be debt free. :)

I found a place. I found the right financing.

Most importantly, i can feel my Father’s hand directing and making everything easy on me. As what I always believe in, if it’s God’s will, then things will come accordingly and very easily. Let’s just pray the processing of the papers will go smoothly…

If not, then i guess it’s not the time for my munting bahay kubo yet.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. 2Tim 3:16-17
